Nick Rees is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Bridgend Capital Advisory, an independent Brisbane-based debt advisory firm focused on the Natural Resources industry and related sectors. Nick began his career as a Mining Engineer and Geologist but has since spent over 20 years in Natural Resources financing in Australia and internationally. Prior to founding Bridgend, Nick spent five years with National Australia Bank as Global Head of Natural Resources. This followed over 13 years with Commonwealth Bank including five years based in New York where he helped establish and led CBA’s Metals and Mining Project Finance business in the Americas. He is a Member of The AusIMM and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
