Xuanyu is a passionate and innovative mining and resources professional with 18 years experience in investment facilitation, exploration, resource development, feasibility studies and environmental approvals.
Xuanyu joined Trade and Investment Queensland as a Senior Trade and Investment Officer in the Mining, Resources and Energy unit in February 2020. Her focus is on international investment attraction into Queensland critical minerals, battery supply chain, hydrogen, coal and emission reduction opportunities, as well as promoting commodity trade from Queensland to international markets.
Xuanyu is a geologist by training and spent 12 years in resource exploration, development and feasibility studies.
Xuanyu holds a Master of Environmental Management from Flinders University and has worked on large scale resource project environmental approval and compliance from 2018 to 2019.
Xuanyu recently completed an MBA from Queensland University and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
